Instead of a show of tree planting, real trees… The mayor of the district has shared in several posts in recent days that new trees are being planted (e.g. in Rózsák Square, which is fine anyway). Instead of showy measures, real district greening should be implemented, for this we only need to look at Wesselényi and Dohány streets between the boulevard and Rottenbiller street: there are hardly any trees, and there are even more cars parked on both sides, obviously it hurts the management to sacrifice parking spaces in exchange for trees, but without a practically green surface, summers in the district will be unlivable. Meanwhile, real greening measures can be seen in districts 6-8.
