The book exchange point on Huszár Street is in tragic condition
Huszar Street 8.

Although the sign proudly proclaims “Erzsébetváros Municipality – the cultural district” – which is of course very loud – the book exchange/collection cabinet set up next to Huszár utca 8-10. could not be more abandoned, unmanned and weathered. 🙁 Obviously the initiative is good and sympathetic, but compared to the cost of the target device, the Municipality is a rather careless owner. I looked at it, I walked around; even if we wanted to, we could not close it, because it is a spectacular but not maintained device. I have seen countless similar cabinets here and there in the city, only they are treated better and more attentively everywhere, from Újpest to Budakeszi, wherever I have come across one like it. Not to mention that - in a completely incomprehensible way - this little unfortunate cupboard is standing here, soaking wet, in the rain, storm, and snow, while it would be in a better place in countless protected halls, passageways, covered streets, or pretty much anywhere. It makes for a very sad and withering sight.. 🙁 They should just take the "mission" a little more seriously and it wouldn't be standing here, it wouldn't look like this.
