Trolley pantograph, metallic, clanking sound

Dear Színes Erzsébetváros team! We sympathize with the civic initiative, we follow your work and we turn to you with confidence, after much deliberation. My partner and I recently moved from Damjanich Street to Nefelejcs Street 54: we definitely wanted to stay in the district, as we love it, and in this house we found the apartment of our dreams, at least it seemed that way until we moved in. The apartment is still wonderful, but we were faced with a desperate problem that had not been noticed during the viewings: the trolley pantograph whizzing by under our first-floor window makes a bone-piercing, metallic, clanging sound that significantly impairs our quality of life, especially since I work from home, and my partner often does too, and it is quite a concentrated job (not to mention rest). In vain did we replace the window with a triple-layer soundproof one - trying to think ahead - but all we achieved was that it filtered out the traffic noise, but the metallic sound is even more nerve-wracking. (Sorry for the dramatic turn of phrase, but we are really very frustrated.) What do you think can be done to achieve this, whether with special insulation, or by urging less frequent or different use of the trolley pantograph, or by modernizing the system? Do you see any chance of solving this problem? Best regards, Gergő
