Questions about the public space order in Erzsébetváros and the Municipality

1. On the streets and squares of Erzsébetváros there is a lot of discarded garbage, and the bins on the street are rarely emptied. Erzsébetváros' Municipality spends more than 800 million Hungarian Forints annually on cleaning public areas. In addition to all this, there is garbage, animal and human excrement thrown on the street every day, which can pose a serious risk of infection for all of us. What do you think about the situation?

2. What do you think about the current method of garbage collection in public areas?

Street bins are sufficient and they are emptied often.
There are not enough street bins, which is why there is so much discarded garbage in the district.

3. According to many, the constanlty spreading street crime is a serious problem in Erzsébetváros. Have you ever seen a suspicious figure or a frightening act in the public area of Erzsébetváros?

I feel safe on the streets of the district during the day and at night.
There were times when I didn't feel safe on the street, more law enforcement officers could help increase safety.
The municipality should do everything for public safety: it should better support the work of the district police station and the district police, and more efficient municipal police are needed.
4. The mayor of Erzsébetváros - Péter Niedermüller - often complains that there are not enough police officers on the streets to maintain order. What do you think, does the local government do everything to ensure street safety?
